LASUSTECH ANNOUNCES MOP-UP EXAMS FOR LASPOTECH STUDENTS WITH OUTSTANDING COURSES

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has announced that it will be conducting mop-up examinations for students of the former Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).

According to a statement released by the university, the examinations are part of the polytechnic’s wind-down process, as mandated by the extant law establishing LASUSTECH.

The mop-up examinations, which will take place from April 5 to 17, 2025, are open to students with outstanding courses within the permissible academic timeframe, as well as those who have applied for and obtained approval for reabsorption.

To participate in the examinations, students must register for the affected courses with either their Part-Time Coordinators or Heads of Departments by March 31, 2025. Students can obtain more information on the registration process via the link (link unavailable).

Additionally, students must have paid all necessary fees via the polytechnic’s portal, (link unavailable)

The university emphasized that this is the final opportunity for affected students to complete their outstanding courses, and urged them to take advantage of the mop-up examinations.

For further clarification, students can contact the Deputy Registrar (Rector’s Office).

The mop-up examinations mark the final phase of the polytechnic’s examination-related activities, bringing an end to all examination-related activities in the defunct LASPOTECH (Part-Time and Full-Time).
