LASU DIPLOMA ADMISSION SCREENING FOR COMPUTER & DATA SCIENCE MOVES TO COMPUTER-BASED TEST
Legitdan News reports that Lagos State University has directed that the Diploma Admission Screening for Computer Science and Data Science applicants will now be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This new screening exercise is designed to assess applicants’ aptitude and replaces all previous screening methods. Submission of credentials or other earlier screening requirements is no longer valid and should be disregarded.
The CBT is scheduled to hold on 27 November 2025, according to the Director of LASU Consult. Applicants who fail to attend this exercise will forfeit their opportunity for admission. All applicants are strongly advised to be punctual and adequately prepared for the test.
The University will communicate further details directly to applicants. Lectures for the Diploma programs will commence only after the completion of the admission screening exercise.
Dr. Zubair Adam, the Computer and Data Science Diploma Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing & Information Technology, reiterated the importance of this screening and assured applicants that updates will be provided as needed.
