LASU COMPLETION OF LACACA OPERATIONS BY NEWLY ADMITTED FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Legitdan News reports that the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has approved the completion of the LASU Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) operations for all newly admitted full-time undergraduate students of the 2024/2025 academic session. This directive is in preparation for the upcoming matriculation ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, 18th February 2025, underscoring the urgency for students to finalize all required procedures promptly.
Extended Deadline for LACACA Operations
The LACACA operations, which began on Friday, 27th September 2024, were initially designed to last for one month. However, the university management has graciously extended the deadline to allow more students to complete the process. The final deadline for the completion of LACACA operations is now Friday, 31st January 2025.
Important Information for Students:
- Students who complete their LACACA operations will:
- Be issued matriculation numbers.
- Be enabled to pay all necessary fees.
- Be eligible for registration at the Health Centre.
- Collect the GNS Compendium.
- Consequences for Non-Compliance:
Students who fail to commence or complete their LACACA operations by the stipulated deadline will face serious consequences, including the automatic forfeiture of their provisional admission.
University Management’s Appeal:
The management strongly urges all concerned students to prioritize the completion of their LACACA operations without further delay. This step is essential to secure continued enrollment and ensure smooth participation in academic activities for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Final Reminder:
The new deadline of 31st January 2025 is final and will not be extended. Students are advised to act swiftly to avoid disruptions in their academic progression.
