Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) Extends State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Lagos, Nigeria, August 25, 2024 – The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has extended the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for candidates seeking admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility for SOVE:

All candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASUSTECH as their First Choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 are eligible to participate in this exercise.

Important Information:

• Participation in the SOVE does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into LASUSTECH.
• Only candidates who are cleared by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) will be allowed to proceed with their Post-UTME screening forms.

Application Process: Candidates are required to make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2000.00) via the official LASUSTECH SOVE portal: https://sove.lasustech.edu.ng/.

General Guidelines:

• Only candidates of Lagos State origin are eligible for this exercise.
• The SOVE is not applicable to Direct Entry candidates, as Direct Entry admission into LASUSTECH is strictly based on merit.
• Applicants are warned against making payments to any individual or account other than the one provided above.

Candidates are encouraged to complete their SOVE as soon as possible to ensure they meet all requirements for admission.
