Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Releases Post-UTME/DE Admission Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has announced that the registration portal for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry admission is now open. Candidates who chose LAUTECH as their first-choice institution in the 2024/2025 UTME and Direct Entry exams are invited to apply. The portal will be accessible from Monday, August 5, 2024, to Friday, September 6, 2024. Direct Entry candidates will undergo oral and written interviews on Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Applicants must upload their O’level results on CAPS before admission can be offered. Once an admission offer is made, candidates must accept or reject it on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of the exercise to be included in the JAMB National Matriculation list. UTME candidates must score at least 170 marks in the 2024/2025 examination to be eligible for the screening exercise.

Method of Application:

1. Payment: Applicants should visit apply.lautech.edu.ng to pay the registration fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using an Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM card).
2. Familiarize with Requirements: Applicants should review available programmes, O’Level entry requirements, and UTME subject combinations.
3. Complete Online Form: Submit the online application form with a clear digital passport photograph in JPEG format (not more than 20kb) on a white background. Blurred pictures will disqualify candidates.

Applicants must present the acknowledgment page at the screening venue. This page, along with valid and active email addresses and phone numbers, is crucial for communication. Candidates awaiting NABTEB, NECO, and WASC results can apply but must upload results on JAMB CAPS once available. Consistency in names, state of origin, and age across all documents is required to avoid disqualification.

Direct Entry candidates, including those in LAUTECH’s JUPEB programme, must obtain Direct Entry forms from JAMB and forward their transcripts to the Registrar of LAUTECH at least one week before the screening exercise. Failure to attend the oral and written interview will result in forfeiture of admission consideration.

Eligibility:

LAUTECH requires at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at no more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NATEB for UTME candidates. Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Upper Credit for National Diploma, NCE, HND, RNS, and JUPEB, with five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects. For Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science programmes, candidates need at least five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes at one sitting.

Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old to qualify for admission to any programme. Applicants should review the University brochure on the admissions portal before completing their application forms.
