KASU Postgraduate Admission Requirements.
1. Postgraduate Diploma Programmes Candidates must possess: Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at maximum of two sittings; Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University not lower than Third Class; or Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in an area not related to the field applying for may be considered; and Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution. A Candidate with Pass in Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent will not be considered for admission and registration.
2. Professional Master Degree Programmes Candidates must possess: Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings and First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or A candidate with a Third Class Degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognized institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50
3. Academic Master Degree Programmes Candidates must possess: Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings; First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and A Candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.
4. M.Phil/PhD Degree Programmes Candidates must possess: Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings; First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) and An academic master degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized University in relevant field having CGPA below the PhD requirements or A Professional master degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized University in relevant field with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.
5. Doctor of Philosophy Programmes Candidates must possess: Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level at a maximum of two sittings; First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and Academic Master Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in the proposed field of study with minimum CGPA of 4.00 for faculty of science and 3.50 for other facilities.
How to Apply for KASU Postgraduate Admission Form: Interested applicants should visit the University Application Portal: http://forms.kasu.edu.ng for application procedures and the list of available programmes. Furthermore, applicants are required to pay a processing fee of N10,000 (Nigerians) or $20 (Non-Nigerians) for the application form Interested candidates should log on to http://forms.kasu.edu.ng and click on the Postgraduate School button, then follow the procedures below:

DATE: Forms must be completed and submitted on or before 30th November 2023. Applicants are encouraged to submit Transcripts of Academic Record to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Kaduna State University, Kaduna.
