JAMB EXPLAINS WHY SOME CANDIDATES STILL SEE 2024 PROFILE AFTER 2025 REGISTRATION
Legitdan News reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured candidates that there is no cause for concern if they still see their 2024 profile when trying to log in after registering for the 2025 UTME with the same phone number and email.
This clarification follows a candidate’s inquiry on X (formerly Twitter) after noticing that his profile only displayed 2024 details despite completing his 2025 registration.
Responding to the concern, JAMB’s official handle, @JAMBHQ, stated:
“There’s no cause for alarm. That happens because the 2025 platform isn’t yet made available for candidates’ view.”
This means that although candidates have successfully registered for the 2025 UTME, the system may still display only their previous records until JAMB activates the 2025 portal. Once the new session is fully operational, candidates will be able to access their 2025 profiles, exam slips, and other updates.
JAMB urges all candidates to remain patient, emphasizing that using the same email and phone number does not affect their new registration as long as the details were correctly entered.
Candidates are advised to check their profiles regularly and await official announcements regarding the activation of the 2025 portal, exam slip printing, and mock exam schedules.
