Immediate Evacuation Alert: Dvorah Hostel Behind Igbariam Campus

In an urgent announcement, the University Management is drawing attention to the critical situation at the Deborah Hostel Complex, located behind the Igbariam Campus of the University. The structure is at risk of imminent collapse, prompting the following instructions:

1. Immediate Evacuation: All students residing within the Deborah Hostel Complex are urgently advised to evacuate. Alternative accommodations can be sought with friends in neighboring hostels or within the University’s designated housing.
2. Ownership Clarification: It is crucial to note that the Deborah Hostel Complex does not belong to the University. The structure was neither constructed on University-owned land nor is it managed by the University. The entire facility was built, owned, and operated by an individual who is not associated with the University Management.
3. Dismissing Misinformation: The public is urged to disregard any circulating information suggesting that the building was erected within the University premises. Such claims are false and misleading.
4. Immediate Action: The University Management has initiated prompt actions to inform the State Government and other relevant agencies. These efforts aim to ensure the professional and safe demolition of the structure, mitigating any potential risks or casualties.
