FUTA SUSPENDS MBBS ADMISSION FOR 2026 2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Federal University of Technology Akure has announced the suspension of admission into its Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme for the 2026 2027 academic session.
The suspension affects all categories of applicants, including Direct Entry candidates. The university advised candidates who selected MBBS at FUTA during the ongoing UTME registration to immediately seek alternative institutions offering the programme.
The notice was issued by the Registrar, C.O. Adeleye, and dated 3 February 2026.
Candidates are urged to act promptly to avoid complications with their admission process for the 2026 2027 academic session.
