FULAFIA announces new appointments
The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved appointments into key academic and administrative positions within the University.
The appointments, which take effect immediately, were announced in a statement issued by the Registrar of the University, Malam Nuradeen Abdu.

According to the statement, the appointments and their tenures are as follows:
– Prof. Adaka Terfa – Director, Centre for Disability Studies, for a period of two years.
– Dr. Aleh Alexander Monday of the Department of Social Work – Deputy Director, Centre for Disability Studies, one year.
– Prof. Awwal Ibrahim – Director, Centre for Cultural Studies, two years.
– Dr. Charles Agum from the Department of Economics – Deputy Director, Centre for Cultural Studies, one year.
– Dr. Yusuf Salihu Madahu – Acting Head, Department of Islamic Studies.
– Dr. James Maikanti – Acting Head, Department of Zoology, one year.
– Prof. Imam Akinyede – Head, Department of Statistics, two years.
– Prof. Mohammed Alkali – Head, Department of Entrepreneurial Studies, two years.
– Dr. Ismail Adedeji – Coordinator, Procurement Department, one year.
– Dr. Ikwulono Ikwe – Head, Department of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation, one year.
– Dr Innocent Okwanya – Acting Head, Economics Department, one year.
– Engr. Nosakhare Agho – Acting Director, Directorate of Public-Private Partnerships.
