FUHSA SHUTS DOWN IMMEDIATELY FOR MID SEMESTER BREAK OVER SECURITY CONCERNS
Legitdan News reports that the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare has ordered an immediate shutdown of academic activities following a security directive from the Bauchi State Government.
The University Senate reached the decision at an emergency meeting held on Monday, 24 November 2025. All students are instructed to vacate the school premises at once, while staff and the general public are advised to take note of the closure.
The university stated that all physical academic activities will stop during the break. A virtual learning program will be made available so students can continue studying while away from campus. Students are encouraged to use the period to revise and prepare for the continuation of the semester and upcoming examinations.
The institution will announce a resumption date through an official circular.
The notice was issued by Halima Garba, on behalf of the Registrar.
