Legitdan News reports that a powerful coalition of school principals in Sierra Leone has pulled out of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), accusing WAEC of mismanagement and lack of transparency.
The Federal Government has directed the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) to transition to full Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for all examinations by 2026.
The West African Examinations Council said the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2024– Second Series will begin from Friday, October 25 to Friday, December 20, 2024.
