Graduates of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, in affiliation with Kwara State College of Education, Oro, (KWCOED), have been stuck in limbo since 2020 due to an unexplained delay in getting their certificates.

On Wednesday, September 11, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) announced an indefinite strike at Gombe State University (GSU), citing unresolved welfare concerns as the primary reason for the action.
