The National Universities Commission (NUC) has formally granted approval for the establishment of additional postgraduate programmes in Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
The new postgraduate programmes are:
LL.M. and Ph.D. Common and Islamic Law (Combined Honours).
Masters of Business Administration.
MA in Public Administration.
M.Sc. and Ph.D. Political Science.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Business Education.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Biology Education.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Chemistry Education.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Computer Science Education.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Mathematics Education.
M.Ed. and Ph.D. Educational Technology.
MLIS. and Ph.D. Library and Information Sciences.
M.Sc. and Ph.D. Microbiology.
M.Sc., Ph.D., and Masters in Public Health.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Ag Director, Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girei, for the Ag Executive Secretary.
Mr. Abubakar M. Girei said the programmes will bear only the approved title and nomenclature, and any change will require the approval of the commission. According to him, the university enjoys providing adequate human and material resources for the development and growth of the approved programmes.
