Ahmadu Bello University Announces Post-UTME/DE 2024: cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

This is to request all 2024 UTME/DE candidates, who applied for admission into Ahmadu Bello University Zaria for the 2024/2025 Academic Session, and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE, to register online for the Screening Exercise from 19th August to 30th September, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY TO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

Candidates with UTME Score of 180 and above and eligible direct-entry candidates should pay the stipulated screening fees and register.

REGISTRATION

To register, candidates are required to visit and login into the ABU portal at https://portal.abu.edu.ng/ forms or click on 2024/2025 Post UTME Registration on the Ahmadu Bello University website https://abu.edu.ng.

Candidates are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only as a registration fee for the screening exercise. Candidates need not travel to Zaria to make the payment as it can be made online using ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment in any commercial bank in the country.

CONFIRMATION OF SUBJECT COMBINATION

Candidates are advised to check course combinations in these links: abu.edu.ng or putme.abu.edu.ng, to ensure their subject combinations are correct. Candidates with incorrect subject combinations may change to a more appropriate programme (course) on the JAMB portal.

NOTE

Candidates can undergo the screening exercise in any of the following venues:

i. lya Abubakar Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IAIICT)

ii. Distance Learning Centre (DLC)

iii. Computer Based Tests (CBT) Centre

Candidates are required to come along with their original JAMB and Post-UTME registration printouts.

Any UTME/DE candidate who fails to register for the Screening Exercise will not be eligible for admission into the University.

DE candidates are to note that they are only expected to register and upload their results for the screening
