RUFUS GIWA POLYTECHNIC DENIES DECEASED WAS STUDENT
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic has clarified reports about a deceased individual linked to the institution. The management said the person was not a registered student.
Legitdan news report that the management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo has stated that Audi Emmanuel, who was found dead in Emure Ile, was not a registered student of the institution.
The clarification was contained in a statement issued by the Senior Assistant Registrar, Public Relations and Protocol, Olumide Olugosi.
According to the polytechnic, the name of the deceased does not appear in the institution records. It described earlier reports identifying him as a student as inaccurate and misleading.
The institution expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and urged members of the public to avoid spreading unverified information.
