Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic has appointed a new Head of Software and Web Development. The institution says the move supports innovation in technology education.

Legitdan news report that Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Ikot Osurua has appointed Dr Mrs Mfreke Umoh as the new Head of the Software and Web Development Department.

The appointment reflects the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation in technology education.

Dr Umoh previously served as Head of the Computer Science Department, where she was recognised for leadership and dedication to academic development.

The institution expressed confidence that her experience will contribute to departmental growth and support the training of more technology skilled graduates.
