LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) RELEASES 2025/2026 ONLINE ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 100 LEVEL REGULAR AND DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
1.0 APPLICATION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the LASU 2025/2026 Admission Screening Exercise for UTME (100 level) and DIRECT ENTRY candidates. This ONLINE screening is mandatory for admission consideration.
2.0 ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING
• UTME candidates must:
• Choose LASU as their First Choice
• Score at least 195 in the 2025 UTME
• Be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2025
• Pre-Degree candidates must:
• Choose LASU as First Choice in 2025 UTME
• Score a minimum of 195
• Direct Entry candidates must:
• Obtain a JAMB DE form
• Choose LASU as First Choice
• Hold a LASU Diploma or NCE for Faculty of Education
• Lagos State Origin Candidates (100 & 200 levels):
• Must have proven their origin before the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC)

4.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
A. POST UTME ONLINE PAYMENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng
2. Click on “Student” > “New Applicants”
3. Select “UTME/DE Screening”
4. Login using UTME REG NO and SURNAME
5. Click “Make Payment (Admission Screening)”
6. Fill in the Payment Form
7. Complete the payment
8. Return to the dashboard and start screening
B. ONLINE SELF-SCREENING FORM
• Use your UTME REG NO and SURNAME to login
• Upload UTME and O’Level results (PDF, max 30KB)
• Input O’Level details correctly
• Medicine & Dentistry require one sitting only
• Engineering (two sittings) must have 6 credits including Further Mathematics for Aeronautics
• Upload O’Level to JAMB CAPS
• Only exams before July 2025 accepted
C. SCREENING GRADING
• Grading is based on UTME score + SSCE grades in 5 BEST RELEVANT subjects
• Visit JAMB brochure for subject requirements
5.0 IMPORTANT DATES
• Screening Duration: Monday, 30th June – Saturday, 26th July, 2025 (12 midnight)

I’m a non indigene of Lagos, but wants to study law at LASU, I have checked my course combination and my aggregate from the Lasu portal and my aggregate is 70.13%, what are my chances of getting law and what steps should i start taking now as regards securing admission
